Black and white photo of bride showing groom her garter, they are laughing

Subtle, timeless, and sentimental wedding photography that’s honest and true to life

Authentic, natural, and vibrant photos for couples who don’t want a filter, and aren't keen on looking directly at the camera.

Documentary style photography:

I shoot 75% of my work journalistically without interference, blending in the background and capturing your event as it happens. I want to capture what’s important to you, not your photographer making it into a photoshoot and taking control, it’s about your love and companionship for each other.

No distracting flash:

I photograph in natural light wherever possible. However, I carry a flash for poor lighting conditions and creative portraits, if you’d like some.

You don’t need to worry about……

Feeling camera shy, it’s perfectly normal not to love being the center of attention, feeling awkward, and not knowing what to do with your body and where to look when you are being photographed. Don’t stress about being picture-perfect, this is why I’m here to guide you through everything, so please relax, your experience will be easy and stress-free!

On your wedding day, you won’t find me…..

· Asking you to say ‘cheese’ and ‘smile’ for those fake, awkward cringy photos.

· Pretending I’m a full ninja and trying to be invisible, I will talk and mingle with your guests, putting them at ease to get natural beautiful photos.

· Creating a love heart pose out of you all, or any other stiff poses unless you want them. Photos like that tend to date, think 80’s cheesy portraits!

· Whisking you away for hours for portraits, that your guests get super bored. It’s not a photoshoot, it’s your wedding day. Of course, we can get stunning portraits of you both, should you want them, but they shouldn’t take longer than 30 minutes.

· Taking forever in a day to get your group photos done by posing everyone, when people just want a drink and to eat. I aim to take just a few casual photos with everyone looking at the camera and then we can do individual, smaller groups later in the day after everyone has eaten and is relaxed.

· Be super bossy, and follow you around all day! I will be wandering around taking photos of your guests, the children, the elders, you mingling with your loved ones, and all the raw, unfiltered moments for most of the day, you’ll hardly notice that I’m there! This is why around 75% of my work is journalistic, documentary, candid, or natural however you want to call it.

Capturing your day, your way.
