Prague - Czech republic (April 2023)
Our first family holiday abroad was to Prague, in the Czech Republic. I had always wanted to go, so I was thrilled to go with my family. We rented out an Airbnb. It was a very cold trip! Plus, on the way home, the captain let the kids in the cabin and gave them his hat to wear, super cool!
Day 1: We had a little wander around Prague, and walked to Charles Bridge, which was built in 1300.
Day 2: Visited the clock tower and had a tour - it was really interesting - the only anatomical seasonal clock in the world. We bought some games, and then went to Dark Light Golf and games(Which was great!)
Day 3: This morning we had a wander for coffee and the kids played in a park. It was 1 degree and very cold. Back to the flat to chill, then to the shop and dinner, and then we had a lovely walking tour of Prague, learning the country’s history with the Prague Walker.
Day 4: First, the Lego museum, which is the largest private collection in the world. Then to the museum of steel statues and Lumiere, an interactive light art installation, which was amazing!! Then over to the Spanish synagogue in the Jewish quarter of Prague.
Day 5: Petrin tower(walked up this beast!! 299 steps up and 299 steps down, plus the hill to get to it!!), we also went in the mirror maze.
Day 6: Karla Zeman museum. (This was good) and the Illusion Art Museum. We then went to the Prague glass workshop (Creating our own glass items; this was such a great experience!! David was Australian, and he was funny). Then we bought an obscene amount of sweets from the sweet captain.
Day 7: Museum of Senses, and picked up our glasswork before heading home.
