Visit Europe: France and Switzerland

Nice - South France (May 2023)

My husband and I went here for our 1st wedding anniversary for the weekend,

We visited Phoenix Park (where we saw a rogue escapee scorpion) and walked up to Castle Hill (Le Château), saw a waterfall, and of course, had to have a baguette.

We also took a few-mile hike around the coastline, which was lovely, and we saw some WW1 bunkers; the weather was beautiful, and I got burnt! 18k steps walked in total and nearly 8 miles. I didn’t take my camera, but got a few snaps on my phone.

Basel: Switzerland (June 2025)

I had a couples weekend here to celebrate finishing my second year of University. I didn’t take my camera, just my phone.

Places we visited:

• Kunst Museum(Saw Picasso and van Gogh here)

• Tingueley museum(There was a special ghost ride on, which was fun, and this place is quirky)

• University botanical garden(Girl loves flowers!)

• Visited 3 countries point and went to France and Germany.
